How do I fix a login or password problem?
This article covers signing in to Favrit, resetting your password, PIN login, and fixes for common login issues.
You need a user account to sign in to Favrit services such as Admin, ePOS, Menu, Supplier, and more. Your username is always your email address.
I forgot my password
- Go to Forgot Password
- Enter your email and click "Forgot password"
- Check your inbox for a reset link and follow the instructions
The reset link is valid for 29 minutes. If it has expired by the time you open it, repeat the steps above to request a new one.
I forgot my username
Your username is your email address. If you are not sure which email address your account is registered under, contact your manager or local administrator. If you have no one to ask, contact Favrit support and we can look up your account.
I did not receive the password email
If you did not receive a welcome email or a password reset email, try the following:
- Check your spam, junk, bin, or trash folder
- Make sure you are checking the correct email address (the one your Favrit user was created with)
- If you still cannot find it, contact Favrit support and we will send you a new link
The login link in my email has expired
Password setup links and invitation links expire after 29 minutes. If your link has expired, you can request a new one:
- Go to Forgot Password and follow the steps above
- Alternatively, contact support and we will send you a fresh link
I am getting an error message when trying to create my password
If you see an error when clicking your setup link, the link has most likely expired. Request a new one by going to the Forgot password page, or contact support.
Switching between locations
A user account can be linked to multiple locations. When signing in, you can choose which location you want to manage.
To switch locations after signing in:
- In browser or terminals: Open the menu in the upper right corner and select Change location
- On the iPad app: Go to the Settings tab at the bottom and select Change location

Issues with changing users with PIN code
PIN is currently a pilot feature. To get access, contact Favrit Support for an onboarding meeting to set it up. If you have done this, your manager should have received a PDF file with information about the setup.
I cannot log in with my PIN code
PIN login on the ePOS requires either:
- That a user with FULL access has logged in with email and password on the device first.
- Or that you log in with email and password on the device.
If a FULL access user has first logged in with email and password, the other users don't need to and can use their PIN directly.
If a full access user has not logged in first, the other users can still log in with their email and password individually to be able to use PIN on the device.
Note that this must be done for each device.
Still can't log in with your PIN?
Check with your manager that you are using the correct PIN.
Nothing happens when I click "Change user"
Go to the Testflight app on the iPad and check for updates. If you updated from the App Store, that version has overwritten the Testflight version that contains the PIN feature.
I don't see a "Change user" option
PIN is not activated for your location.
