What is a Favrit micronetwork?

A micronetwork lets venues share their menus with each other, so guests can order from multiple locations in one go.

Some common setups:

  • A bar without a kitchen adds food sections from a neighbouring restaurant
  • A food court collects all vendor menus into one shared ordering experience
  • A hotel combines their room service with menus from nearby restaurants

Guests ordering from a shared menu won't notice any difference. Orders are automatically routed to the right venue, and payments are split accordingly. Each venue only sees orders that include their own items.

How it works

In a micronetwork, one location is the Producer and another is the Consumer / Micronetwork.

  • The Producer is the venue making the food, and whose menu sections are being shared. For example a pizza restaurant.
  • The Consumer / Micronetwork is the venue that displays those sections to their guests. For example a bar.

The Consumer can turn shared sections on or off and rearrange where they appear in the menu. They cannot edit products, toggle individual items, or change prices. Any product changes must be made in the Producer location.

When a guest places an order that includes items from both venues, both locations receive the relevant part of the order. Tips and revenue are split automatically and are visible in your reports.

Custom opening hours for sections

If you want a shared section to only appear during certain hours or days, you can set custom opening hours on the section. This lets you control exactly when guests can order from it, without having to manually turn it on and off. Learn how to set opening hours on a section.
