Setting up your NETS terminal

Prerequisites

• The terminal must be powered on

• A Merchant Card is required to access the parameter menu

• Decide in advance whether the terminal will use Ethernet or GPRS

Step 1: Open the Parameter Menu

1. Swipe the Merchant Card

2. Press 6 to open the Parameter menu

3. Press 1 to open the Change menu

4. Press 2 to open the Communication menu

5. Set Comm. Type to:

   • Ethernet, or

   • GPRS

     Choose based on terminal type and desired connection

    

6. Press the yellow key to return to the previous menu

Step 2: Configure ECR Settings

1. Press 3 to open the ECR menu

In the ECR parameter menu, set the following values:

• Comm. type

  Ethernet or GPRS

  Must match the communication type selected earlier

• ECR/TLS

  Yes

• ECR IP address

  3.33.230.243

• ECR IP port

  6001

Step 3: Restart and Verify

• After completing the setup, the terminal will restart automatically

• If the configuration is correct, the terminal should show a stable green ECR indicator shortly after startup

Expected Result

When setup is complete and successful, the terminal is ready for Cloud@Connect and will maintain a stable ECR connection.
