TROUBLESHOOT
Terminal not connecting (no green ECR indicator)
- Comm. type mismatch — Verify that the Comm. type in the ECR menu matches the one selected in the Communication menu. Both must be either Ethernet or GPRS.
- Wrong IP address or port — Re-enter the ECR IP address (3.33.230.243) and port (6001) carefully. A single digit error will prevent connection.
- ECR/TLS not set to Yes — Confirm that ECR/TLS is set to Yes. If set to No, the terminal cannot establish a secure connection.
- Network issue — Check that the Ethernet cable is properly connected, or that GPRS has coverage. Restart the terminal after verifying the network.
Tips not appearing on terminal
- Tips may be set to No — Follow the Tips guide to check the current setting. Select Predefined or Total amount and confirm with the green button.
- Terminal did not restart after change — Changes only take effect after the terminal restarts. If it did not restart automatically, power it off and back on.
