Fixing Slow Connection Issues with S1F2 Terminals

Adyen has identified that some S1F2 terminals may experience delays when receiving payment requests from ePOS systems. If you’re encountering this issue, follow these steps for a temporary fix:

1. Connect the Terminal to Wi-Fi

Ensure the terminal is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. If Wi-Fi is unavailable at your location, use a mobile hotspot.

 

2. Remove the SIM Card (If Needed)

If payment requests are still not reaching the terminal, remove the SIM card. The SIM card, located under the battery, may override the Wi-Fi connection if the signal is weak, which can cause delays.

 

3. Restart and Test

•Reinsert the battery.

•Power on the terminal.

•Process a test payment to confirm the issue is resolved.
