The Z-Report provides an overview of daily transactions, including sales, refunds, and other financial movements. Below is an explanation of the report.

General Information 


1. Location Name

The name of the site where the cash register was used, e.g., the restaurant name.

2. Company and Organization Number

The name of the company linked to the report, along with its organization number.

3. Period

The time period covered by the report, from the start to the end time.

4. Register ID

A unique identifier for the specific register the report pertains to.

5. Serial Number

A reference to the number of Z-Reports generated for this register.

Financial Overview

6. Sales by VAT Rates

Net: The sales amount excluding VAT.

VAT: The calculated VAT on the sales.

Incl. VAT: The total sales amount, including VAT.

7. Tips

Count: Number of tip transactions.

Gross: Total amount received as tips.

8. Payment Processing

Gross: Total payments received before deductions.

Refunds: Total amount refunded to customers.

Fee: Fees associated with payments.

GC-Commission: Any commissions for gift cards.

Net: Total net income after deductions.

Credit Balance

Opening Credit Balance: The balance at the start of the period.

Closing Credit Balance: The balance at the end of the period.

Change in Credit Balance: The difference between the opening and closing balance.

Product Overview

Account: Product category or account linked to the sale.

Count: Number of items sold.

Service: Indication of service-related products.

Net/VAT/Gross: Amounts excluding VAT, VAT included, and the total amount.

Cash Register Reconciliation

Sales: Total sales recorded during the period.

Refunds: Total refunded amount.

Net Cash Sales: Net cash income after refunds.

Tips: Total tips received.

Deposits/Withdrawals: Cash added to or removed from the register.

Cash Drawer Openings: Number of times the cash drawer was opened.

Net Amount in Cash Drawer: Cash balance at the end of the period.

Discards/Voids/Corrections for Current Period: The value of voided/corrected transactions in the period.

Discards/Voids/Corrections from Previous Periods: The value of voided/corrected transactions from prior periods.

Grand Total Sales: The total value of all sales to date.

Grand Total Net: Net value after sales and returns.
