What equipment do I need to use Favrit?
This article explains what hardware you need, and how to get it.
You can buy everything you need from the Favrit webshop. If you already have the equipment, you can reuse it.
Favrit POS runs on any modern device with an internet connection, just keep the operating system, browser and the Favrit App updated.
Note that if you want to use printer connected to a specific iPad (for example for receipts), itthe printer only works with iPads, not other tablet types.

Printing receipts and kitchen/bar order tickets. We support Star Micronics mC-printers: connect by cable (USB or Ethernet), or wirelessly via Bluetooth. A cable connection is more robust than Bluetooth, as walls and distance can interfere with a wireless signal. |
| Cash drawers | Storing and managing cash payments at the counter. |
| Paper rolls | Thermal receipt paper (80 mm wide) for your printer. |
| Cables | A Lightning-to-USB-A cable to connect the iPad to a cabled printer (it also charges the iPad). |
How do I order?
- If you're not yet a customer: you'll be asked about equipment during sign-up. You can also speak to your sales representative.
- If you're already talking to a sales rep or customer success manager: let them know what you need.
- If you're an existing customer: order directly from the webshop.
Anything you buy is yours to own and use as you like. While you're open and trading, the iPad and printer should be dedicated to running Favrit. We ship orders as soon as possible.
