Connect to a cash drawer in two ways:
Connect the cash drawer to the printer
- Use an RJ12 cable and connect it from the cash drawer to the printer.
- Make sure to set up your iPad with Apple ID and download the Favrit Admin App.
- On the iPad, open the Favrit Admin app and go to the "Hardware" tab. Click "Connect printer and cash drawer".
- Select the printer.
- Give the printer a name, select placement and select "A cash drawer is connected to this printer".
- Click "Connect". You can now use this cash drawer to receive cash payments. Here you can learn more about cash payments.
Connect the mPOP cash drawer to the app
The mPOP cash drawer has a built-in printer. You can buy the mPOP in the Favrit Shop.
- mPOP can be connected with the iPad either with Bluetooth or with USB.
- In the Favrit app, click "Connect printer and cash drawer".
- Select the mPOP, give it a name and select placement.
- Click "Connect". You can now use this cash drawer to receive cash payments and print receipts..
Don't see the Cash payment button?
It might have been disabled manually. Go to Admin > Service Settings > ePOS. Make sure the Cash option is enabled.
You can also try to disconnect the device from the Hardware tab in the app, and reconnect again.
